Artist's Description

" Fear not death for the sooner we die, the longer we shall be immortal."
-Benjamin Franklin
Memento Mori: An Impressionist Series

This series of impressionist paintings explores the theme of memento mori, which is Latin for "remember you must die." The paintings depict a variety of symbols of death, such as skulls, bones, and flowers, but they do so in a soft and ethereal way. The artist uses a variety of brushstrokes and techniques to create a sense of beauty and mystery, and the overall effect is one of contemplation and reflection.

The paintings in this series are a reminder that death is a part of life, and that we should cherish the time that we have. They are also a celebration of the human spirit, and our ability to find beauty in even the darkest of places.
