This painting is part of my series inspired by Mark Twain's quote, "Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody."

This series depicts a moonlit landscape with a figure standing in the foreground, facing the woods. The figure's face is obscured by shadow, suggesting that they are hiding something or not ready to reveal their true selves.

The painting is a reminder that we are all complex and multifaceted beings with flaws and shadows as well as light.
