Dragon pillars are a common sight in Chinese temples because dragons are seen as divine beings in Chinese culture. They are believed to bring good fortune and prosperity, and to protect the temple and its people from evil spirits.
Inspired by the China Pavilion in Epcot, Disney World, but wanted to imagine what it would look like if the dragon was real and guarding the temple and not just a pillar. ;-)
